Dr. Gaylon R. Rogers
Orthopedic SurgeonUpon receiving his degree from Vanderbilt University, Dr. Gaylon R. Rogers received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1969 and completed his internship in Richmond, Virginia. After serving in the United States Navy as a Flight Surgeon, Dr. Rogers completed his orthopedic training at the University of Tennessee in 1980.
Dr. Rogers is committed to the care of the musculoskeletal system and whether it is due to an injury or simple wear and tear, he feels each problem has a significant effect on the lives of his patients. Dr. Rogers has extensive experience in the treatment of arthritis and other orthopedic conditions and focuses on arthroscopic and minimally invasive procedures, as well as spinal conditions of the neck and lower back. He also has broad sports medicine experience from his many years with Alabama Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center. Dr. Rogers has managed numerous work-related injuries through his career within the Alabama Workers Compensation Program.
Dr. Rogers is on the medical staff at Brookwood Hospital, UAB West, and St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a member of the Medical Association State of Alabama and the Jefferson County Medical Society.
